Preliminary autopsy results on Hex, the German Shepherd that was stolen from the Govednik's home, indicated the dog was "Severely beaten head to tail, 12 broken bones including a crushed skull and it all happened post mortem so he was already dead," said Hex's owner Al Govednik.
