Hex Was Beaten, Skull Crushed

Preliminary autopsy results on Hex, the German Shepherd that was stolen from the Govednik's home, indicated the dog was  "Severely beaten head to tail, 12 broken bones including a crushed skull and it all happened post mortem so he was already dead," said Hex's owner Al Govednik. UPDATE: REWARD FOR GERMAN SHEPHERD

Saturday morning 8th October, Jeff Govednik (the owner's brother) wrote: hex did not make it home.. we found him with no collar along side of the road.

Marsha Asbury wrote: The Govedniks and close friends are in deep mourning at this time.. But still they move forward and are delivering Hex to Chicago for an investigative autopsy. It is a shame as to what extreme some people will go to in order to "get even"... The body was positioned perfectly so it would be found on training day at the Govedniks. - how cruel are these person/persons ? I weep...... our hearts are broken...Marsha has a son of Hex.

What happened to Hex was heinous, unforgivable. My heart aches for Al and Marcia and Hex.
