Retrievers: 2010 National Amateur Championship
The 2010 Working Retriever National Amateur Championship was held in Klamath Falls, Oregon. 112 retrievers competed in this grueling, seven day long event (June 20 - 26), involving ten series or tests. The winner this year is Field Champion, Amateur Field Champion Four Leaf's Ice Breaker, a black male labrador retriever handled by his owner, Pete Hayes and trained by Wayne Curtis. The first image shows Pete giving the judges the ready signal with his right hand, as 'Buster' focuses on the gunners out in the field. Below that is the awards photo.

The sporadic technical glitches persist. I see blank comments coming in frequently. Blogger needs to fix this, one of these days. Please email me if your comment does not appear.
